I’ve recently earned a Master of Arts degree in Counseling with an Addiction Concentration. 

My theoretical perspective of counseling is based on the person-centered approach. I believe that each person has the capacity and desire for personal growth and change and the counselor’s attitude fosters a therapeutic alliance with the client. I will embrace each client with a non-judgmental approach with a desire to help clients reach self-actualization. I pride myself on ethics and confidentiality. In 2022 I received the College of Education Learning and Leadership Award from Central Michigan University. 

I will continue to uphold academic and leadership standards in the counseling profession by ensuring that I provide the most accurate and evidenced-based approaches to each client session. I received national recognition in 2021 for the ethics competition hosted by the American Counseling Association (ACA). Clients should know that their therapist upholds their privacy and confidentiality is at the forefront of each session. My goal is to help each client through life’s journey, one day and one conversation at a time.'
