Hi, I am Krystal Armstrong, MA LPC CADC ACS. As the owner and therapist at KCC, I am a seasoned clinician with over 20 years in the behavioral health care field. Moreover, I have an extensive skillset in working with individuals with an addiction, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Ferris State University (2003), Master of Arts in Counseling from Wayne State University (2009), and a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (2017). Throughout my education, I have received various certifications in Addiction Counseling and Approved Clinical Supervision.
Lastly, I am a Mental Health First Aid Instructor- Adult and Youth as well as an Adjunct Professor at University of Detroit Mercy since 2019 and Central Michigan University (2023). I have engaged in countless outreach events, radio broadcasts, community speaking events, and conference presentations on the subject of mental health.
