Implicit Biases are the unconscious attitudes and stereotypes that may affect the work that we do in behavioral healthcare. Subsequently, these biases can influence our understanding and action, often without our awareness. In this training, participants can expect to be highly engaged and involved in an interactive session that will help raise awareness of these biases. Participants will be able to recognize and understand implicit bias, learn strategies to reduce bias, enhance communication, and foster greater inclusivity.
